WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN UVA AND UVB RADIATION?
The sun emits two types of ultraviolet (UV) radiation that reach our skin: ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB). UVB-rays have more energy than UVA rays, but they can only enter the top level of the skin. They stimulate production of vitamin D in the body and tan the skin.
