This year’s Athens Marathon is the Guest race of the RunCzech Running League 2018.
RunCzech is the organizer of 9 running events in 5 cities of the Czech Republic. Seven of them are awarded the IAAF Gold Label, including the famous Volkswagen Prague Marathon.
Each year RunCzech adds to its series of running events a so-called Guest race thus giving to its runners an opportunity to acquire more points in the special RunCzech ranking system which classifies runners according to the professions, gender and age.
Starting in 2013, RunCzech had among its Guest races world famous marathons like Kosice, New York, Beijing, Berlin and Valencia. Athens Classic Marathon is considered to be kind of a Mecca for the runners from every corner of the planet, so RunCzech is happy to offer this lifetime experience to its runners.
RunCzech has already opened its registrations for 2019. Moreover the famous Volkswagen Prague Marathon 2019 will celebrate its 25th anniversary.
