We spent two nights in Komic, the world‘s highest village with road access. Life is definitely challenging on 4500m in the Spiti Valley. In the winter the temperature drops below -35°. A family and their animals need about 200 liters of water a day which takes them 2-3 hours to carry from the spring to their house.

This was ten days ago while riding our motorcycles deeper into the Himalaya in India following the Tibetan(Chinese) border. Being cut off from the internet for a little while and living this adventure in the moment, day by day, was a great experience.
